Spring is like a welcomed breath of fresh air!
The sun is shining,
temperatures are warm,
birds are singing and building their nests,
trees are bursting with new green leaves,
and flowers are blooming.
I do love spring!I've gathered a few things for a spring vignette in the keeping room, like this Haviland France Limoges tea cup with its delicate rose pattern, the perfect resting place for a bird and its nest.
While at the Dollar Tree I spied these Mighty Malt speckled eggs,
they are perfect for this blue vintage candy dish.
I don't remember liking malt candy as a child, but that has changed.
I'm having a hard time keeping my hand out of the candy dish!
This little pair of birds are salt and pepper shakers.
Baby lambs come in spring,
so how about a fenced pasture for a couple of sheep.
When I came across these sheep at Pier One Imports the first thing I thought of was Ramen Noodles.
Don't they look like they are covered with them?
They are super cute with happy little faces!
A reminder of what Easter is all about.
"Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world."
John 1:29

Perfect vignette for Easter. Those birds are beautiful. Even the candy dish of malts looks pretty - I'm sure the dish will look great even when empty!
