Is there any season we look forward to more than Spring?
It's my favorite season,
and though each brings something special,
there is none I look more forward to than Spring!
After a long winter of cold weather, ice and snow,
just the thought of warm weather being right around the corner makes me happy,
so I'm thinking Spring!
so I'm thinking Spring!
Here in NC the spring bulbs are just bursting open.
Soon the trees will be covered...
In no time we will be seeing wildflowers, hydrangea, hollyhocks, and dandelions...
Beautiful butterflies and buzzing bees...
I'll be opening the windows to enjoy the warm breeze...
and flinging the doors open to bring the outdoors in...
Time to enjoy fresh!
Hanging sheets out on the line...
Taking the time to stroll,
noticing the beauty that surrounds us...
Finding nests and using them indoors...
The joys of a Spring rain while sitting on the porch...
I can't wait to decorate the porch!
Spring dresses and my hair up in a bun...
Sunny days swinging or doing whatever suits my fancy...
Here in the south we like the word "darling"!
Darling means
gorgeous,
dear,
favored,
precious,
sweet.
Isn't she a Spring darling...
Spring's a darling and I'm so ready to see her!
Aren't you?
