A January Spring

The temperatures surely say it's winter.

But as the sun shone brightly around the side of the house,

onto the porch,

and began dancing across the pansies,

the view was one of springtime.

The high today is 55 and the low tomorrow is to be 9...that's cold!

It's definitely winter,

but this morning I truly enjoyed the view transporting me to a few moments of Spring,

even if only in my mind.

Hope your week is off to a great start...stay warm!

  3. Too cold for me, but at least the sun has been shining. I'm not looking forward to the rain coming back... but at least it's not snow!

  9. What beautiful photos of your porch! So pretty! It's bitter cold here as well but at least the sun's out to trick us into thinking it's a bit warmer that in actually is.

  10. Oh, I love pansies but didn't plant any this past year since we are preparing to move. It's suppose to be 14 here tonight and that is very cold for NE Louisiana. And, colder than we like it for sure! Blessings!

  12. What a pretty porch and the sun pouring in window does make you think of spring. You step outside and winter hits you in the face. Very cold in NJ too
