Christmas Sparkle Farmhouse Kitchen & Tour of Homes

It's been playing over, and over, and over in my head.
Oh what fun it is to ...
you know the song ... Jingle Bells
This is the first Christmas in our farmhouse style kitchen and oh what fun it's been adding Christmas sparkle!

I am so excited to be a part of the 2014 "Christmas in the Country" Home Tour and Link Party.
If this is your first time visiting...WELCOME!

Simple.
That's been my approach to decorating the house
and I'm using only what I have on hand, like this angel in the front window.

I placed her on a silver mirrored pedestal and then sprinkled the base with tiny snow balls and glitter...

Beside the angel is a teeny-tiny tinsel tree,

with lots of birds,

and pinecones,

and snow sprinkles!

The tree was placed on a silver tray with a few sprays of glitter covered greenery...

A white dove for the tree topper...

and teeny-tiny birds.

I wish you could see it when the sun shines in,
everything s p a r k l e s !

For the swan on the pine cupboard, a few berries sprinkled with glitter...

In the evening when the icicle lights are on it is real sparkly...

The keeping room is the perfect spot to cozy up by the fire with a cup of hot chocolate...

Can you tell I have a thing for swans?

They fit well in a farmhouse style kitchen on a country home tour...

This is the time of day when I turn the Christmas music on
and
light my favorite candle scented like a fresh cut Christmas tree...it smells SO good!

  9. It looks just beautiful, Cindy! I LOVE your teeny-tiny tinsel tree. :-D The clip-on birds are precious; I have that very same blue jay for my Christmas tree. I, too, have a thing for swans; they remind me of my trip to England many years ago.

Your keeping room looks incredibly cozy for this Christmas season. Can you believe how cold it was yesterday?! Brrr. I enjoyed seeing your pics -- I know how much you're enjoying your lovely new kitchen after the long wait. Have a wonderful day!
