The spring garden is in full bloom with lots of color.
I have been weeding,
trimming,
spraying,
fertilizing,
and also taking some time to smell the roses and enjoy these other garden beauties...
Knock Out Roses...
Azaleas and a visiting bee...
Bottle Brush...
Ferns growing on the rooftop...
Japanese Pittosporum...
Candytuft is one of my favorite border flowers.
A petite plant with tiny leaves and blooms.
It's hard to tell in this picture, but this plant is small and the leaves are tiny...
Tiny leaves with an even TINIER little bee-thingy perched on it...
White clematis vine...
Purple clematis...
Pansy's in stone garden baskets...
Not sure the name of this shrub but the blooms sure are pretty...
Purple Bearded Iris...
The Cherokee Rose blooms in early spring and it's dainty flower lasts for only a short time...
This one has a visitor...
You can read about the legend of the Cherokee Rose HERE.
Hope you enjoyed the blooms and bees!

Great photography showing the delicate beauty of your garden! I enjoyed it very much.
ReplyDeleteYour garden is so beautiful,Cindy! I'm jealous, we've been having LOTS of rain and cool weather here in MO. Not really 'growing' weather. Hopefully soon, the temps will warm and my garden will look prettier. Until then, I'll take another look at yours. Thanks so much for sharing it with us!! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteEverything in your garden is just so pretty! I love the photography.

Absolutely beautiful Cindy! Your garden is so much farther along than mine. We'll still enjoying daffodils and tulips. And I can't stop staring at those ferns on the roof. I'd love to hear more about that! ... And you're welcome to come share at our garden party anytime!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Only thing blooming around here is the Daffodils, Tulips, and Azaleas. Seeing your pictures is a nice treat. Thanks for taking the time to share them.

I've never tried to grow roses. For some reason they seem intimidating. Your roses are beautiful like a painting.
ReplyDeleteP.S. thanks for listing me on your sidebar - you're also on mine. When I changed my blog, all my blog friends had to update the link so it would be current. Sorry for the inconvenience!!!
