One of my favorite parts in planning for the kitchen has been choosing the fixtures.
There are so many choices to consider, take the kitchen sink for instance...

one bowl or two,
apron front, undermount, or drop in,

It was a happy day at our house because the sinks arrived!

Ellie-Mae is excited too!
What's your preference, porcelain, copper, stainless steel...?
Hop back over and join the party...AMAZE ME MONDAY!
Oh how exciting. What gorgeous sinks. That is on my wish list too someday!
ReplyDeleteI personally love porcelain. We just received our farmhouse sink for the house we are building. Cute story, it 36" and the gentlemen that delivered asked my husband if it was a baby bathtub. We giggled when he told me. I like this kind of sink because I j ust put hot water and a little bleach in and let it soak for one hour (a bit of OCD) and it sanitized.

We have porcelain, and I love it. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteI like any kind of apron-front, only because as I've gotten older it hurts my back to bend over an inset one.
ReplyDeleteBut all of these were lovely!
Enjoy your new sinks!
Hi Cindy! I'm so happy for you and they look great! I can't wait to see all of your reno! :)
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia :)
This is perfect Cindy and I'll be book marking this post to refer back to when are kitchen goes in. Right now I've got stainless steal, under mount .. don't like it. My new one will be a double sink, white porcelain with an apron in the front. The Veranda kitchen is the closest to what I'm going for .. and I'm doing my counters and island in honed white marble.
ReplyDeleteSo fun Cindy and I can't wait to see how they look installed!! Enjoy your weekend:):) xleslie
These will be beautiful! I could never deal with the pattern style...too busy. I have stainless steel, drop in here. Love the 1 sink factor, however, not a fan of stainless.

Beautiful!

Your sinks are just beautiful Cindy -- I love them!! Porcelain is my very favorite; that's what we got for our "new" kitchen, and we've been very happy with it. :) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteWarm hugs,
Denise
Very exciting Cindy!!
ReplyDeleteI agree...this is the fun part. And there are so many choices. I prefer porcelain and I did have stainless steel. It just isn't as pretty. When we redid the kitchen, I so wanted a farmhouse sink but they were priced SO high priced. IKEA had an affordable one but because it wasn't made in the USA, hubby worried about repairs and warranties. Keep having fun and good luck!

Jane
Hi Cindy,
ReplyDeleteYour sinks are beautiful. I love porcelain and have a farmhouse porcelain sink in my kitchen. Have been really happy with my sink for a couple of years.
Kris
Porcelain is my fave! Yours are gorgeous!! xoxo Jen
ReplyDeleteI love the first photo and it looks like you got two of them!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering at first if the "s" on "sinks" in your title was a typo... And, no! Two gorgeous sinks, wow! They both are beautiful and porcelain is my favourite kind!
ReplyDeleteWow, I remember when you first blogged about ideas for your reno, deciding on colors, and here you're getting close! We're considering this now, leaning toward painting the cabinets white and doing stainless steel countertops and a deep, really fabulous stainless sink. I do like your new sink, though. Ellie Mae is so cute! -Dawn @ We Call It Junkin
ReplyDeleteOh, so excited for you, Cindy! They are beautiful! I'm a stainless lover, but I can appreciate the beauty of many different ones.
ReplyDeleteOoh how exciting! I've had both stainless and enamel and love them both for different reasons. Your sinks look really awesome! Most of all I love deep and large sinks. Looks like your Ellie-Mae is ready to hop in for a bath!
