WEDDING DAY ~ FATHER and DAUGHTER

I've been reminiscing.

Remembering our daughters wedding day.

Fond memories, dear to my heart.

Slowing down to ponder them, good for the soul.

Helping her get ready was such a special time for this mom and her girl.

Remembering also how special this day was for dad.

Those first moments, as he took that last step up the stairs, when his eyes met hers.

Seeing his girl, all grown up and in her wedding dress,

moments away from marrying the man of her dreams.









Sharing a moment together.

A glimpse as family and friends are being seated to share in her big day...







And now, the time has come.

All the guests have been seated.

The bridal party is in place.

The groom awaits.





The music is playing.

Dad offers his arm, she is delighted.




 





She is tickled pink.







Mr. and Mrs., their future so bright.


All smiles as she looks over at her momma,
                                                    and I am all smiles too...






Thanks dad, for your love and the wedding of my dreams...

    What absolutely beautiful pictures - a stunning bride and wonderful family ! I have to say, the picture of Dad walking away after he 'gives' his dear daughter away ( under the heading "she is tickled pink") brought tears to my eyes and a big lump to my throat.......What a truly marvelous day it must have been........
