JOY IN AUTUMN

Friday, October 4, 2013


This is such a beautiful time of year.

Bright skies,

cool breezes,

the changing of leaves,

nippy evenings,

afghans and coffee,

sweet candles scents and touches of Autumn in the den.


Baskets,

pinecones,

a swan,

pumpkin,

and birds...


Warm rays of sunshine fill the room,






Sweet candle scents...




The sun begins to set,

and evening shadows begin to fall.


We have eaten dinner,
picked out a movie and are looking forward to a quiet night.

Joy fills the soul as we enjoy these touches of Autumn.


Hope your day has been wonderful and your evening is even better!
I have an afghan and am making more coffee...

    Your den is lovely in the different times of the day. I love Autumn weather, it does make me very sleepy though. I have brought out extra blankets to snuggle under and am back to drinking hot tea in place of iced tea.

    Oh, I love swans! And I love the pillows you have on your red sofa. I have red sofas so I'm always looking for decorating ideas! You have some pretty Fall touches for your living room! Candles are always so welcoming! Hugs!

    Beautiful room I love the red sofa. The evening photo made the room so warm and welcoming. You did an exquisite job on this room just like the rest of your home.

    I feel as though I just spent a beautiful day in that room. Love the red sofa and when my current red sofa must be replaced, it will be another red one for us.
