Rain, rain…bloomin’ rain!
Yup, it has been pouring rain all day and will be for days to come but the garden is just a bloomin’!
We watched several down pours this morning as we sipped our morning coffee on the screened porch and it was a beautiful sight to see. When it settled down a bit I decided to slip out and snap a few…
Lantana…
Daylily…
Hosta blooms…
Magnolia…
The beauty of nature, God's handiwork, truly amazing!
So, what’s the weather like in your neck of the woods?
Hope you'll come share each Monday at AMAZE ME MONDAY!

Blessings,
Been raining for days here as well. Today we are in the mess associated with TS Andrea. So, we are under a Tornado Watch unit 10pm :-/
ReplyDeleteLuv the plant shots. I have a few yellow lantana bushes in the hummingbird and butterfly garden, and yellow day lily at the Master bedroom garden. I can only dream of the magnolia... my neighbour had a HUGE tree, but had to remove it as it was causing trouble to his septic system. I miss it . I enjoyed and painted the blooms frequently. You can see some on my blog.
Hugs, Gee
Same here. Our road washed away Sunday night. My flowers are happy too. Lovely close shots.
ReplyDeleteWow! Cindy! That daylily is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are just beautiful and much further ahead than ours here in the Midwest. How I'd love to grow magnolia! We have had quite a bit of rain, too. Unfortunately our hedges are growing like crazy, too, and we are on our second trimming in 3 weeks! :(
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
It is raining here, too. I am so very tired of it. Last year it was so hot and dry that it was awful...this year, just for a laugh, it is wet and cold. Can't win. However-your gardens really are winners!!! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are stunning. I really wish we would have rain. That will not happen until November or December here in SO CA. So I water, water, water all the time. I guess it keeps me out of trouble LOL.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend and maybe the sun will come out for you.
Mary
Love your bloom shots! It hasn't been raining the entire day, but when it came down this evening we had a gulley washer, with hail. I think I can hear it rumbling again.
ReplyDeleteCindy! Your garden must be amazing! :) Because your pictures are GORGEOUS! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing them for Fresh-Cut Friday. Your post is a lovely addition! :)

drop after drop of Liquid Sunshine here also. The plants and trees love it , so I'll smile and catch a few rain drops on my tongue and splash in a few mud puddles just for fun.
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking shots!
ReplyDeleteThe droplets of water look so pretty on the flower petals.. gorgeous images! We get LOTS of rain here in Seattle.. it keeps things green, clean, and fresh. I do tire of the mud though..

LOL It's gray and rainy here, too. You're photos are amazing, Cindy! WOW!
ReplyDeleteThis is the perfect Fresh Cut Friday post. LOVE it!

Here, too. It has been raining for three days, and more in the forecast. We will happily take it because we usually experience draught in the summer.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a screened in porch to sit and watch the rain in! I love when it rains. Even as a kid, I loved it. :) Don't you love your lantana? It's one of the hardy ones that can actually take our Texas heat. Such a pretty flower. Love your magnolia and daylily too. We got a downpour last night and my flowers (and grass) loved it. We're still recovering from an extreme drought a couple of years ago, so any time it rains, we rejoice. :)
ReplyDeleteHere too ! Its been raining for days and it doesnt look like its slowing up any time soon ! Have a great weekend
ReplyDeleteOh so beautiful! They look great with the drops of water and you captured them perfectly!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love raindrops on flowers and foliage? It is such a beautiful sight.

ReplyDeleteIt's raining off and on here , the humidity is horrible.
My husband is in Florida to visit his Mom who was hurt in the tornado last week. So things can be worse, I will take the rain.

Wow! I can just smell that magnolia blossom. All so pretty.
ReplyDeleteWow what beautiful flowers and pictures!! We did have a thunderstorm here in Sparks NV a few days ago, but otherwise we are sunny and dry! I linked my post about flowers (Geraniums) up to A Stroll Thru Life party also, Have a great day, Lori
