It was a beautiful day here today.
Bright sunny skies and a warm breeze so I headed out to the garden where I found lots of blooms and some babies too!
Spirea…
Purple Clematis…
Azaleas…
Purple Iris…
Fringe Tree…
Sweet Shrub…
And what are the orange blobs hanging in the cedar tree?
A fungus called cedar apple rust…yuck!
Snowball Bush…
More pink azaleas…
And some babies! Chickadees…
White Clematis…
Thanks so much for visiting. I hope you enjoyed the blooms and babies!
Please leave a comment so I’ll know you did!

Oh, my goodness, Cindy! What a gorgeous garden you have!! Your pictures, especially the close-ups, are spectacular!! It looks like everything is bursting forth in bloom! And the baby birds are just another sign of new life! I've never seen anything like the orange fungus before...Hopefully they don't harm the tree. We've also been having some nice weather, lately, so I've been out, digging in the dirt. Oh, how I love this time of year!!

ReplyDeleteOh, what beautiful pictures.... I even kind of think the fungus is pretty! The baby birds are such make such a sweet, sweet picture!
ReplyDeleteCindy, just had to stop by to tell you that your photos are absolutely beautiful. That orange rust stuff is really kind of pretty looking from a distance but up close, your're right. Yuck!! Does it hurt the tree at all?..Love the little striped bug. Looks kinda like a form of the 'magic' bugs that show up in my garden every year and eat the aphids on the roses, except their backs are solid brown..Happy Thursday..Judy
ReplyDeleteCindy, even the fungus is beautiful! Beautiful flowers are the wonder of spring. You did a great job!
