Taking
time
to
smell
the
roses
Mr. Heart surprised me us with a special Valentines Day.
Dinner at my favorite restaurant,
the kind of restaurant we only go to on very special occasions.
This Valentine’s Day was extra special because not only did he surprise me
but also
my mom, our daughter and her husband.
We had a FAMILY Valentine’s Day and it was the BEST!
When we arrived at the restaurant, these beauties were waiting for me…
So today, I’m taking time to smell the roses!
What did you do for Valentine’s Day?
Hope it was full of love!
Blessings,
Sounds like a very blessed Valentine's Day! Your roses are beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely photos Cindy! And what a special husband you must have!! I had to smile when you said you went to dinner with your family. There was a time when I thought Valentine's Day was a 'couple's only' holiday, but now that I'm a bit older and wiser, I think it's a day to share with those we love. Plain and simple. Thank you so much for stopping by today. I so appreciate it and hearing your thoughts has been really helpful! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy! I just commented and it didn't show up so I'll try again. Thanks so much for visiting my blog and commenting. I SO appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are so lovely, and you must have a very special husband! Have a wonderful weekend!
We dont go out on Valentines Day too crowded. We go out a week later.
ReplyDeleteMy husband bought me the most biggest bunch of roses ever. 42 Roses for 42 years of marriage! I wish he hadnt because they dont last. But they did come with a pretty vase I can keep. I think he spent some of his bonus pay, AWWW

Loved all your pretty pictures too, and so glad you had such a special day.
Smelling the roses is definitely a great thing to do, cause when we slow down we see so many neat delights the
Lord has in store for us, like leaves blowing off a tree, as we are just driving along. That was my one of my delightful sightings this morning. lol
Have a great Sunday hon,
Blessings, Nellie

Taking time...I think we were having similar thoughts today. Smelling the roses is what we should allow ourselves to do each and every day.
