My mother introduced me to Downton Abbey and I have been hooked ever since.
~Early 1900’s ~ British ~ Lords & Ladies ~ Fashion ~ Castles … what’s not to love?
On several occasions when watching Downton Abbey, I noticed something that looked familiar. So when I saw it again while watching the last episode, I grabbed the remote, hit pause and snapped a picture of the TV screen!
See that little table?
Here it is a little closer…
and again here…
It reminds me of our little table in the hallway.
Here’s my Downton Abbey look-a-like.
These pictures were taken early in the morning when the sun was coming in through the bathroom window…
And these pictures were taken in the late afternoon when the sun was coming in through the front entryway…
How do you like our look-a-like
and
and
are you a Downton Abbey fan too?
Dont you love seeing something you have in a movie?! I know just how you feel girl! Congrats, they really look alike! :) And I love your home decor, did I mention that? I do! :)
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Wow, I can't believe you spotted that table, how fun! I haven't finished watching season 3 yet, so I will be on the lookout for that! Your table is so elegant, I love the delicate legs. I love Downton Abbey, such a total escape from our hectic lives...don't you love how formal they are with each other?! Fun post, thanks

Lovely photos and nice styling. Now I just need the castle...
ReplyDeleteLove Downton Abbey, and I love your look-a-like table! Pretty little piece! I'll see something on TV every and once in awhile, or in a magazine, and I'll be sure to point out to my husband what a great decorator I am, being that I have the same thing! haha! Just kidding!!! LOL! :)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love Downton Abbey! Can't get enough. Your look alike is wonderful. That little mouse is cute. BUT your front doors are stealing the show for me. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy,
ReplyDeleteI love your little table; the spindle legs are so pretty. Your vignette looks so nice and your Chippendale mirror is just lovely! It is fun to discover something of ours in a tv show or movie, isn't it? I noticed this past Christmas when we re-watched "Home Alone" that they have our living room lamp on their bedside table. That was kind of exciting. :)
Have a great day, Cindy!
Denise
Wow! Your own piece of history. Love it!!
ReplyDeleteYour table looks very much like the one from Downton Abbey, and is very pretty. Yes, totally hooked on that show, but just wonder how much for death and heartache that family is going to endure. When they insist on sharing all that sadness with those of us who follow faithfully, I say "enough is enough!"
ReplyDeleteI don't watch downtown Abby, but love your little table. The mirror you've paired with it is perfect.
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll come see My Daughter's Master Bath Redo! #83 at Met Monday.

You do have a look alike Cindy! Very pretty table and pretty vignette too! Your pics look beautiful with all that sun streaming in!
ReplyDeleteI love DA. I have a whole board for it on Pinterest. I was not happy with the season finale however. Why two of the main actors wanted to leave the series is beyond me. Julian Fellowes did the best he could but still. Your table is lovely.
ReplyDeleteYours is much nicer than the Crawleys'!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, after seeing the Downton Abby table and then seeing your table I have just realized I also have a table a lot like that. How wonderful. I would never have noticed that without your help. Thank you
ReplyDeleteI just finished season 1 and I look forward to starting season 2 tonite.
ReplyDeleteIt's so much fun to take in all the decor and clothing, isn't it? Love your spindle table.
I'm a new follower.
Have a great evening!
Oh- I love it-it is like the entry table. I could just kick myself for getting rid of a similar one not too long ago- What WAS I thinking? I love Downton Abbey, too and I am HOOKED!!! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteHow cool is that??? I just started watching season one this winter on Netflix, and I am hooked. Each episode is like a little jewel to be savored. Hope you can stop by the enchanted oven for some sweetness.
ReplyDeletexo,
Lisa
How neat is that! Just gorgeous Cindy, really such pretty decor and shots.
ReplyDeleteO yes, Downton Abbey has me hooked too. Love it. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat eye catching the glimpse of that table. Will you now be Dwellings Abbey?
ReplyDeleteLove the table and mirror and your vignette is perfect. Gorgeous flowers. Thanks tons for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI am such a fan of Downton. Great look! I adore that oil lamp! So beautiful!
