Hambley-Wallace House
Urns add a special touch to the garden, especially when they are decorated for the fall season.
A wonderful way to greet friends and family that come to visit...
Mr. Heart and I recently went on a home tour in Salisbury, N.C. and one of the homes on the tour was the Hambley-Wallace House. I must say this was one of the most beautiful homes I have ever toured! Wish I could share pictures of this home with you, but no picture taking was allowed once inside.
We waited in line for almost an hour to tour the Hambley-Wallace House and as we finally reached the entry gate to the property we were welcomed by these beautiful fall urns...
The grounds were amazing. In the side yard was a birdbath which was also decorated for fall, filled with juniper greenery, dried hydrangea and a pumpkin...
A birdbath decorated for fall, such a great idea. I may just have to try this myself!

We've been to Salisbury several times but never toured this home! I would love to next time we go! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThe urns are beautiful and they look lovely all decorated for fall. Beautiful post and photos. Thanks for sharing, have a great week ahead.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful house and I love those urns - it looks like you had a great time.
ReplyDeleteIf the urns were an indication of what was inside it must have been beautiful. I loved the urns. Valerie
ReplyDeleteI love urns - they are so graceful and elegant looking. What a beautiful house you toured. Too bad you couldn't take photos indoors.
ReplyDeleteI always like those oversized urns and only wish that I could get my hands on a few like the beautiful ones you shared in this series...a little bit pricey, but oh so lovely~
ReplyDeleteSo enjoyed the Hambly-Wallace Home and know how much you must have enjoyed the day.
ReplyDeleteI checked the home on Google and was able to find indoor pictures and a nice newspaper article about this being the first time the home has been opened for touring and how no one minded the long lineup and waiting and all said it was worth that wait.
We lived in Salisbury when I was a child so that is one reason I went to check out their site. Thank you for telling us about this lovely home.
Joyfully,
~Sylvia Faye
