WELCOME to Home #5 on the Virgina Home Tour!
I fell in LOVE with this home, inside and out!
I took sooo many pictures that I would like to share with you, so this home will be shown in several different posts.
Here we go for Part 1...
This is such a pretty entry foyer. The woodwork throughout this home is beautiful! From the stairs, wall board, window trim and even the doors...it is amazing!
The dining room is gorgeous!

The dining room is gorgeous!
The
furniture, fabrics, wallpaper and decor are timeless and oh so classy.
The
open shelving, center sink, rod for hanging and counters for folding make this
such a stylish and practical laundry room!
Off
of the kitchen is an eat-in dining area.
Isn't
this woodwork amazing! Such attention to the detail was given throughout this
home! These window treatments and chandelier are so pretty, and more built-ins in
this room too!
Can you imagine having this for a walk-in pantry, such a lovely built-in option!
To the right of the eat-in kitchen area is a lovely four season porch...

I would have loved to have seen this home in person...it's stunning inside and out! Love the valance in the breakfast nook, it gave me a few ideas! ;-D The pantry is awesome, too! Love everything! Thanks, Cindy!

Oh I am just a fool for built-ins of any kind. To me they make so much sense when one can utilize the space between studs which would normally be enclosed with sheet rock anyway. Such a beautiful home. The designer had a very good work room making her draperies. That is the hardest part about designing/decorating model homes. That was the part that always gave me nightmares. LOL My hubby and I used to go around and look at model homes too in CO. Here in NC they don't go for them so much. Very strange. Thanks for sharing I really loved seeing this home. Blessings, Barb
ReplyDeleteThat is such a gorgeous home! I love the dining room and just how classic it all is. Definitely my favorite of the ones you've shared so far Cindy! :-)

Very nice home. I like the way the floors are so distressed! Loving the wallpaper in the dining room, too. I agree with Vanessa that this one might be my favorite!

Wow, this home is beautiful. I love the front porch. Can't wait to see the rest of your pics. Also wanted to let you know that I'm now following via LF. I was already following in GFC.

Love this home though not digging the blue wall paper in the dining room but the color scheme is fabulous. Also not sure about the really cool pantry. Very unexpected. I really do love this one though! I could easily move right in. The stair case looked amazing!
ReplyDeleteThis is a very lovely home. I want to thank you for bringing them all to us.
ReplyDeleteI love house tours too and this was wonderful. I am following you and am now on the search for more tours on your blog. Thanks, Terry
ReplyDeleteThis is the best home you've shown yet Cindy! I love the exterior color. I'd be afraid to use such a bold color because where I live people play it safe with brown and beige or brick. I love seeing areas where people use outdoor color because those houses seem so fun.
ReplyDeleteI love the style of that dining area off the kitchen, but each room is very lovely. Whoever owns or will own that house is very lucky.
Thanks for linking up to the Your Cozy Home Party!
This is absolutely gorgeous. I wouldn't change a thing. When can I move in?
ReplyDeleteI love the house. I love the colors, love the built ins, love that kitchen! I bet you loved touring it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteHugs,
Morning Cindy,
ReplyDeleteYes, truly this is a gorgeous home. Love all the built ins, and that pantry is amazing, course, don't think I would want the glass door there tho, but love the built ins surrounding the doors. Also really liked the way
they did the window swag in the dining room and I have wanted to do chairs like that for years now, just want to do 2 for my family room, that also can be used in the dining room as well, but have been too chicken to attempt it and don't know anyone who sews anymore. Thanks for sharing your home tour. Very fun post!!
Hope all is going well with the wedding plans,
Blessings hon, Nellie
Great house. Love the crisp white trim throughout.
ReplyDeleteThat house is gorgeous! I could totally live there.
ReplyDeleteEspecially loved the dining room.
So pretty!
