A Vintage Christmas.
This vintage window is usually above
the great room fireplace mantel.
the great room fireplace mantel.
For Christmas this year,
it has a new home in this vignette,
of tinsel trees, angels and glitter!
it has a new home in this vignette,
of tinsel trees, angels and glitter!
This musical Christmas village has ice skaters,
ferris wheel,
snowmen and more,
and is a treat for the children that come to visit.
They love listening to the music,
and watching all the characters as they move across the ice.
This little tinsel tree is adorned with crystal birds and ornaments of snowy white and silver glitter and topped with sparkly ribbons.
Angels proclaimed the birth of the Christ child, surely they are perfect for Christmas vignettes!
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”
Luke 2: 8-14
Children are full of excitement and anticipation for Christmas...
Oh, to have the heart of a child!

I also have different rooms which require different colors of Christmas.... whites and ivory in my kitchen and golds and reds elsewhere!
Yes, those square marshmallows were from Williams-Sonoma! They are big and so moist and cushy! (RE: a comment you made on my recent post)
