Black Lion at Christmas.
It's a tradition for us!
Every year my aunt and cousins come to town for our annual Black Lion at Christmas jaunt! Talk about eye candy, oh my!!!
Take a little peek for your yourself...
I love this china cabinet...the mirror on top is so unique!
This is such a cute plaque...hope I NEVER reach #4!!!
This sweet little mouse with his note to Santa was toooo cute!!!
My pictures just don't do these next few pictures justice. This booth is full of crystal and silver tableware and is one we spend much time in. Lots of oohing and ahhing!
Very classy and glamorous and lots of sparkle too!
There were 7 of us in all. My sisters and one of my cousins weren't able to be in the picture, but here is
my aunt Janie, cousin Sheila, me and mom!
A wonderful time...
fellowship and laughter...
many Oohs and Ahhs...
lots of shopping!
Thanks so much for visiting, love your sweet comments!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I haven't had time to go to Blacklion myself this season and this was so nice to "drool" over all the eye-candy that each booth has. I love the animal print holiday pillows and the Santa plaque is just too cute! Definitely projects for next year :D
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!

I so much enjoyed looking at these lovely pictures and now I want to go shopping with you. This looks like a fabulous place to spend a December day.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy this last week before the big day!
LOVE Black Lion!!! I try to swing by when I am in Charlotte, but I've never managed to visit at Christmas! Great pictures and eye candy! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful post my friend, so nice to catch up again. Sending you and your lovely family special wishes for a very Merry Christmas Day and look forward to keeping in touch in 2012.

Your post is such a treat! I love window shopping and that's what I felt like as I was gazing at your lovely photos. (And I love that mouse too!!!)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous post Cindy! We must get there in the New year and perhaps hit some clearance and sale priced items. Looks like a fun day indeed, and what a great tradition.
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy,
ReplyDeletefirst of all what a lovely pic of you, your Mom
and Your aunt and cousin. Very nice, and you all look like you are having a great time. and Wow,
this shoppe is gorgeous. I haven't seen anything like that in years, somebody did some seriously beautiful work there. So enjoyed the pics, they are wonderful. One of my friends used to work for a lady who owned a country store and
her store looked very festive like that well, but she sold it and I haven't been over there in years, so don't even know if it still exists. Funny cause I was just thinking about that a few days ago and thinking I should try to look it up on line and see if I can find it. It is in another town, but not real far away. Think I am gonna do that right now.............
You take care and Merry Christmas,
Blessings Nellie
Oh my, that crystal booth is stunning. What an awesome place to cruise. Thanks for sharing your trip. You and your family are adorable. Love that last pic.
ReplyDeleteYou always find the best places to shop Cindy! Everything is beautiful, but the adorable mouse is my favorite. Looks like that was a great day of shopping/browsing with your family.
ReplyDeleteWOW Cindy I could spend hours in a shop like that!! Great picture!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post. I love the crystal and silver tableware. Thank you for sharing.

Cindy, how lovely and inspiring. Have a happy Christmas. Olive
ReplyDeleteMy kind of day, Cindy!
ReplyDeleteWe used to go antiquing the days before Thanksgiving when all of the sister-in-laws went to Oklahoma to see my mother in law! Then she moved and we are not able to have those save kinds of memories!
Such a fun thing to do. Looks like there are many great shops in this antique mall.
