The front porch is ready for Fall...well almost.
The summer flowers in the urns on the front porch are still looking so pretty that I haven't wanted to change them just yet. Pansies do so well here when planted this time of year. They look beautiful through the winter months and all the way through spring. So, when the time comes pansies will most likely replace the summer flowers.

ReplyDeleteVery pretty Cindy! You always take such beautiful pictures! Martina
ReplyDeleteYour entryway is truly beautiful! I love the urns and wreaths!
ReplyDeleteWhen my summer flowers die off, I sometimes plant pansies as they can survive a few frosts. I was just too busy this year so I went straight for the mums!! They can survive a little cold!
We are having terribly cold, wet, windy weather today. Even the dogs don't want to go out!! Hope your weather is better!
XO,
Jane
Pretty pics. I usually just do pansies..that is all about that lasts here.
ReplyDeleteYour wreaths are so pretty! I'm the same way with my flowers. It's so hard to pull them when they are looking great to put in pansies. But, if you wait too long, there are no pansies available...
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Pam
I love Mums for the fall season, but your door is lookin beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Hi Cindy, your pots look great! I usually leave my summer annuals in until the first frost. Then, I plant my pansies. Your entry is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love your door and entry. Cindy, I like to do a mix of succulents, fall florals, colorful foliage.
ReplyDeleteIt is getting cold here although I know we will still have a lot of Indian Summer Days as well.
Oh I have a Designer Pillows Giveaway! I hope you will join! ( a great resource as well)

ReplyDeleteHi Cindy,
ReplyDeleteSoon God will plant snow flakes in all of the flower pots that I leave out.:D Another few weeks and we will have a covering of snow that won't leave until March some time.
Your flowers are lovely, and the pansies will be so pretty all winter long.
Hugs, Cindy
Beautiful, and you captured them so well with your photography! :)

ReplyDeleteYour wreaths are lovely on your entrance. Wonderful double doors! Happy Seasonal Sunday!
ReplyDeleteVery lovely Cindy! I love that dainty little plant flowing from the urn with the geraniums. So perfect together!
ReplyDeleteYour urn is beautiful~ it does seem a shame to pull out those gorgeous geraniums when they seem to be thriving! Love your wreaths on your front doors!
ReplyDeleteYour urn and wreaths look so pretty even though they still have summer flowers in them. I haven't changed mine out yet. The bit of cooler weather seems to have revived most of mine. I'll probably plant pansies next month. Happy Sunday.
ReplyDeleteOh love your post! I am posting my porch later in the week, you will have to stop by and see my little vintage cottage porch.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Gayle from Behind the Gate
