FALLISH DEN MANTLE

It is cold and windy here, definately FALL weather!




This crow has a place in my home all year, it just gets moved around from time to time.
I think it adds the perfect touch to our fallish den mantle.

    Cindy, what a lovely fall mantel!! Mr. Crow looks so stately on his perch! I absolutely love all of the color and texture; and of course, being a Southern girl, I adore the magnolia leaves!! Just gorgeous!!

    Your mantle decor is gorgeous! I love the crow and Magnolia pods in the glass bowl. Did your mantle come from an old home? I'd love to hear its history.

    Like your mantle, very nice!! Magnolia trees are just the best, they yield so many neat natural pieces to use for decorating. One of these days
    I would love to plant one. I see them at a shopping center we have here, they have magnolia trees all over the parking lot, and the leaves are gorgeous enough, but then their are the beautiful white flowers, and these pods you have and then those wonderful red seeds too. I am so
    tempted to ravish some of their trees when I go there, but restrain myself.............lol

    I always love red berries because they are happy and cheerful with their bright colors. Plus, crows are a very under used fall element. You created a beautiful mantel Cindy! Happy Halloween!
