The "savory" roaster has a lid, so I could use it one of two ways, without the lid...
Or, with the lid...
So which do you like best, with the lid or without?
Love your sweet comments!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful decorations.
ReplyDeleteJust fabulous! I knew it would turn out great and it did! Cute Mr Squirrel. Have a great week. Blessings, Barb
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy - visiting you right back, from Mosaic Monday. Your fall tableau is lovely - and i prefer it with the lid.
ReplyDeleteQuite a beautiful feel of fall. The box of flowers is pretty.
ReplyDeleteCindy I'm going to be no help because I love it both ways! Beautiful vignette and beautiful pictures! Martina
ReplyDeleteIt looks great either way! I love the flowers in it!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great week.
Pam
I like the lid. Just love the rich layers. Thanks for sharing at Market Monday. Can you add my link, pretty plse with sugar on top! I amso glad you stopped by.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous idea Cindy! I just love that sweet vignette, so homey!
ReplyDeleteCindy, I love that roaster filled with flowers. How pretty. The squirrel is too cute. I have a thing for the little guys, too. Great vignette.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to stop by and thank you for visiting my new blog and leaving me a sweet comment! I also signed up to follow your blog. What a great idea to put flowers in a roaster pan! I love ideas like that (thinking outside the box). This is Kelly from The Essence of Home. Having trouble with my computer leaving comments using my acct name when I have to select a profile. Should be worked out soon.
ReplyDeleteHey Cindy, I like it with the lid, the only way I could like it any better is if it were mine! I love Savory and the squirrel. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteDebbie
Nice mosaic, thanks for sharing!

Your roaster looks perfect for fall filled with mums. I love the cute fall collar you gave Mr. Squirrel. What a lovely vignette! I like the roaster either way, but I think w/o the lid looks best.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! Your arrangement is gorgeous and the table vignette is perfect!
ReplyDeleteLove your gorgeous Fall vignette, Cindy! The roaster turned planter is perfect (with OR without the lid) and the palette you've chosen is beautiful! I have that same red leaf placemat, too ... great anchor for your vignette!
ReplyDeleteYou really decorated that so nicely. Looks gorgeous on your porch.
ReplyDeleteCindy, how could I ever choose which way I like your spectacular roaster turned planter. It is delightful both ways. I think it was so creative to turn that roaster into a planter~ and you styled it brilliantly!
ReplyDeleteI leave very inspired... and looking for a roaster! Great post and such pretty pictures.

Oh so pretty, CIndy! I really like the roaster. I think I like it better with the lid. My acorn needs your squirrel so bad!...Christine
ReplyDeleteLovely use of your finds. The words squirrel and roaster did not seem to go together until I saw your post!
ReplyDeleteCindy, this is stunning! I love your arrangement. I agree with the previous comment. Squirrel and roaster? I had a "Fatal Attraction" moment. LOL
ReplyDeleteWonderful finds. I love how you've use the roaster. (I think without the lid.) Well done!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful arrangement!! I love it with the lid. It just completes the look and makes it a much more interesting vignette. I don't have a roasting pan but I do have some enamelware type buckets with lids....You've inspired me :)
ReplyDeleteYour table looks fabulous for autumn. Although the roaster looks lovely with the lid, I'm thinking that without it you can enjoy the flowers while looking through the window from the yard. Two views, both great!

I love that idea!!
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing.
Debbie
I love it with the lid! Great job. Great sunroom.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your vignette with your new roaster and the little squirrel. Squirrel looks so spiffy with his/her fall bow. I can't decide about the lid. I actually like it both ways. Great look and so inviting on your porch. Love that porch.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Babs
This is such a beautiful vignette!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Love it. That roaster is just the greatest thing. Love the flowers and so pretty with or without the lid. How creative is that. The bow and rafia on the squirrel is so pretty too and you have created such a beautiful vignette. The candle and acorns are just the perfect finishing touch. Thanks for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteCindy, that is just so clever! The roaster looks gorgeous with the flowers in it and once again I have serious porch envy! :-) Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful post with us at Inspiration Friday this week!
ReplyDeleteVanessa
I prefer it both ways! It is so creative and artistic-gorgeous either way!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for linking to Potpourri Friday. Your participations makes the party more special!
Cindy, what a creative use for a roaster!! I would never have thought of that! Your photos are gorgeous! I saw it on Savvy Southern Style and immediately wanted to follow you! I'm new to blogging; and I'd love to have you join me and follow, as well! Peace and Blessings!
ReplyDeleteCindy, I would not have thought of using this as a planter. I used to have a speckled nay one. Great fall vignette. Blessings Terri www.morningdewdrops.typepad.com
ReplyDeleteThe arrangement in the roaster is beautiful. Great idea to use it this way.
ReplyDeleteHello Fall....is what that room screams to me. Very well done, and I must say that roaster made an awesome arraingment....love it.... It looks great with or with the cover....and the squirrel is a cute as can be.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Ellen
I like how you complete a scene; you wrap ribbon around squirrel and then add autumnal embellishment to ribbon.
ReplyDeleteI like lid slightly better than no lid.

I'm impressed! A roaster, for crying out loud, who knew!!!! Love the vignette. I like it with the lid, myself...but what it Ms. Squirrel becomes animated during the night and eats the nuts and her tail knocks the lid on the roaster....what then.....? (Okay, soooooo I'm a little mental...be nice) ☺
