Thanks for your suggestion of safflower seeds. I too have a plethora of blackbirds and squirrels. I usually use black oil sunflower seeds and millet (separate feeders) but I will certainly try the safflower.
Hi Cindy, What lovely photos! I love layers of white, so sweet and soothing to the senses. I will tell my neighbor about the safflower seed, thanks for the tip. Hugs, Cindy
Hello,I'm your new follower. So glad to get to know you.I will be browsing your post and enjoying myself.I love the simplicity of your postof your post today.I also love your post on feeding the birds, for the last several years I've been enjoying watching birds closer up and feeding them.I have wonderful good luck with hummingbirds.Song birds not so good.Of course they went crazy over the bagged mixes but it made a huge mess on my patio.I've been trying several types of(ohoh-senior moment...can't think),packed squares?not one bird in 3 years.
What a beautiful photo! I love magnolias, however, we only have fake ones here in Michigan! When I go south, I am in awe of the beautiful magnolia trees. I bought a silk flowere arrangement with magnolias in it. That is the close as I can get, regretfully.
