While visiting my sister on the farm
we decided to take a trip to town for a little antique shopping.
I have been searching for a little something for display on the kitchen island and this antique scale with brass bowls will be perfect.
I have already polished the bowl on the right
and once I regain the strength in my arm (it took a long time!) I will do the other one...
I really like the details...
Swans, geese, and ducks,
I have a thing for birds and scored these two primitives for a song.
One will have a home on top of the hutch in the kitchen...
I am looking forward to displaying Ironstone on the kitchen hutch
and was happy to find this gravy boat to go with my collection...
A sugar dish...
I did a little happy dance when I found this hen with chicks...
which happens to be a lamp...
I can't wait for September, this is when they say the kitchen will be finished
and boy am I ready to get our home put back together.
How about you, found any new treasures lately?

Your sugar bowl is Pfaltzgraff, Heirloom. You can still buy this new if you want more pieces. I started collecting this in the mid 60's. It is as lovely as ever.
