It was a rainy Saturday,
the kind of day you just want to stay inside, or at least I did anyway.
But Mr. Heart and I had to go the appliance store to make a decision on the hood vent we purchased for the kitchen, so we headed out.
Afterwards, we stopped by one of our favorite spots for some lunch and then decided to swing by Sweet Frog for some dessert. It was still cloudy outside but the rain had stopped so after making our purchase we headed outside like we usually do to eat our frozen yogurt by the fountain.
If you follow me on Instagram you know where I am going with this...
Notice what I am wearing?
A jacket!
It's the first of August in the South and it was too chilly to eat frozen yogurt outside without a jacket, I am loving this weather.

So glad YOU are here, let's party!
Your summer day was quite different from ours! Here on Vancouver Island we have had remarkably hot weather - blue skies and sunshine day after day. I feel as though I have a watering can attached to my hands! Looking forward to reading the posts on this link, now that the house has sold and I have time to sit and read. Thank you for making the link-up possible!
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy,
ReplyDeleteWow! Your cooler weather sounds heavenly right about now, for us, here in the hot and dry Med, and we're expecting a heatwave for the next three days! Frozen yoghurt and a jacket and some rain must be a welcoming break from all the hot and humid temps. Enjoy and thanks for hosting; have a wonderful week!

We have had some unusual weather here in the Midwest as well this summer. But it feels summery again now and I hope we don't rush into Fall just yet! Thanks for hosting :)
ReplyDeleteYea for cooler summers! Austin is having a much milder summer too. We aren't wearing sweaters, but we can have the doors open on the sun porch and enjoy the fresh air. Loving it! Hope we both continue to have cooler weather.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting.

ReplyDeleteHi Cindy
ReplyDeleteHave to say wearing a jacket right now, sounds wonderful..........it is so hot here in Florida. Thank the Lord for his rain tho, it cools us off some, course, then it is muggy..........but still better than 100+ degrees.
My daughter is really enjoying the weather too..........
We are also big frozen yogurt fans.......have you ever tried the salted caramel pretzel.........oh my goodness, it is
our fav now..........they didn't have it this passed Sunday and we were bummed! lol
Thanks for hosting today and every week.
Blessings, Nellie
