The Entry~Double Door Remodel

Hi sweet friends!
Hope you are having a great week, it's been busy here!

The front of our house has been going through some changes.

 We started with the stone front porch and

 once finished we moved on to the double entry doors.
Here is the front of our house before the porch and doors were remodeled...

The foyer was dark,

 the storm doors were showing wear,

 and we wanted a change that would allow sunlight in to brighten things up…

much brighter with lots of sunlight streaming in...

    I got sidetracked, Cindy, and can't remember if I sent my comment off. So I will try it again. I can't believe that transformation. That is such a beautiful job. The sun streaming into the entry is so pretty and it was beautiful before by now..I would never get anything else done except sit and stare at it. All I can say is WOW..And even if I did send off my comment this is a 2 comment worthy project..Happy Thursday..Judy

    Your doors are beautiful! We had a single door at our last house similar to yours. I truly used to just stare at it. The sun comes in and just sparkles. :)

    Oops,my comment just disappeared, so if this appears twice I'm sorry! I was commenting on how much I love your new doors. I always swoon over these doors with the gorgeous rodiron inserts. I'd love to have a set like this unfortunately I don't think they will match with my house. For a future home I guess! They are simply gorgeous!

    Beautiful doors! I love the way the light shines into your home and I also love the pattern in the glass.

    I didn't realize that you have a shop. Is it in an antique mall?

    Hi Cindy! I love your new front doors and I know how much the glass lets in light! I'm still amazed at how our houses look alike on the outside. Wish we had that pretty pediment over the doors! Gorgeous.

    Wow, your new doors are gorgeous and bet you are really enjoying all that light coming in.....so pretty.
    course, I thought the old ones were gorgeous too, but always nice to have a change. There is just something really special about those doors with the glass tho. So your whole porch looks cheerfully renewed, and it
    sort of gives you a nice change indoors as well. Wow, 2 birds with one stone. What a great idea!
